Our Impact
Koko Agri Farms is dedicated to championing Ugandan Cocoa Bean Farmers by organizing agricultural education along with business development resources to improve agricultural practices, increase yields and the quality of marketable products, while expanding market access. Farmers gain bargaining power when they organize their efforts into smallholder farmer associations, agricultural cooperatives or farm aggregates that aim to collectively address challenges such as access to resources, market competition, and sustainable farming practices.
1. Improving Farm Practices:
Koko Agri Farms has partnered with Quality Champions Uganda, to provide training by leading Ugandan Agronomists on modern farming techniques, soil health, pest management, and water conservation.
2. Market Access:
Koko Agri farms together with the sister company Eleanor Agribusiness company in USA, are helping farm groups to gain access to larger markets, including export opportunities, through better distribution channels and aggregation.
3. Value Chain Development:
Koko Agri Farms is setting up a Demo facility that will offer support in adding value to cocoa beans through processing, packaging, or branding, thus increasing profitability for farm groups.
4. Financial Support and Resources:
Koko Agri Farms together with Stanbic for Her Financial Fitness are Providing financial literacy trainings to farmers especially women farmers, free bank account opening, access to loans, grants, or subsidies for farm infrastructure, seeds, or equipment.
